What kind of oils/ essential oils do you source?
We constantly look for the best Nature Born ingredients. We do in-depth research to source the best, cleanest and organic ingredients. The oils/essential oils we use are of the highest quality and are all third-party lab tested for purity. Oils used in all of our Balsam products are 100% certified organic. We’re passionate about using only the best ingredients that are as health-conscious and environmentally responsible as they are effective. Balsam products will never contain: Formaldehyde, Artificial dyes, Petroleum, Mineral oil, Sulfates, Parabens nor any other harmful chemicals.
Are your ingredients cruelty-free?
Yes, absolutely, always. We are certified Cruelty-Free by Leaping Bunny.
My Balsam Deodorant gets runny.
Is that normal?
This can happen either during shipping or if it is not stored at room temperature. First try keeping it in a dry, cool place. If that does not work, put it in the fridge for 15-30 minutes and you should be good to go.
Is Your Packaging Zero Waste?
Yes, sustainability is high on our agenda. We don’t want to add to the landfill with plastic packaging, like most other deodorant manufactures. When you receive a shipment from Balsam every element is recyclable, from the box and shipping materials to the jar/bottle itself, which is glass. The only element that is not recyclable is the lid/pump. And yet we are looking for a more sustainable option for lids/ pumps. Once we find it, we will offer it.
What do you mean by handcrafted?
We don’t use commercial machines to fill our products. Every single Balsam recipe is hand mixed. Every jar or bottle is hand-poured. Every package is packed by hands. We care very much about the human, handcrafted touch. We believe this makes for a quality product that is handled with care, to ensure you get the absolute best, natural product.
Damage/ Defective
We are unable to accept returns on our Balsam products unless there is damage or you have received an incorrect item.
If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, contact Orders@BalsamBalm.com with a photo of the damage, or the wrong item you received, as well as your order number. We will correct the mistake right away and re-send you the appropriate product within 1-2 days at our expense.
If you would prefer a refund on the damaged item or on the item that you did not receive, please contact Orders@BalsamBalm.com with a photo of the damage, or the package that you received as it was sent to you, as well as your order number and we will process the return on the missing or damaged item and refund you within 1-2 business days.
